Ottens Flavors' commitment to innovation and continuous improvement is helping to insure kosher compliance and the proper labeling of kosher products. Working closely with the Orthodox Union, the world's largest and most widely recognized kosher certification agency, Ottens IT and Operations groups have developed an improved, streamlined process for electronically applying kosher signatures to kosher products that further drives out costly administrative tasks. The process interfaces with Ottens' inventory control system and Orthodox Union digital files containing the Rabbi's signature, which is downloaded to the labels of specified products and product lots. This collaborative effort between Ottens and the Orthodox Union insures the proper identification of kosher products and conforms to kosher certification standards.
